Exciting news! The new Backwaters 280 Shopping Center is now leasing. Units from 1,200 sq. ft to 12,000 sq. ft are available. The availability of this new shopping center is the initial step towards the completion of a proposed 30-acre master planned commercial development. The master plan proposed includes home improvement supply stores, grocery stores, fast food restaurants, office and retail complexes, a convenience service station and a self-storage facility. We are in the process of evaluating the construction specifications for the convenience store, gas station and self-storage facility.

The Backwater 280 Shopping Center is part of a proposed 30-acre master planned proposed commercial area projected to include home improvement stores, grocery stores, fast food restaurants, office and retail complexes, a convenience service station and a self storage facility. The number of cars passing this commercial develop is 21,000+/- cars a day (Hwy 431/280). In addition, there is a large population between the Smiths Station Elementary School and the south entrance of the Backwaters 280 Shopping Center. This area includes many subdivisions and the people working at this location as close-proximity customers.

Area is Greatly Under Serviced (97,000+/- people!)
The Bleeker, Salem, Backwaters and Smiths Station communities are greatly under serviced.
